The Inner Banks

之前Caroline已經(jīng)是位有成就的民謠歌手和詞曲創(chuàng)作者.出生于音樂(lè)世家的她，已經(jīng)是家族里的第三代歌手。David做為提琴手加入The Inner Banks，他擁有民族音樂(lè)碩士學(xué)位，并為樂(lè)隊(duì)成立了獨(dú)自的發(fā)行公司.David經(jīng)常創(chuàng)造性的把民謠搖滾和電子樂(lè)結(jié)合在一起.相較于他們的第一張同名專輯，《Songs From Disko Bay》的音樂(lè)顯得更為抒情和迷幻化.并加入了廣泛的音樂(lè)元素，吸取冰島，尼泊爾還有墨西哥等地區(qū)的一些異域色彩.除了Caroline有點(diǎn)沙啞空靈飄渺的人聲演繹，專輯最后兩首純配樂(lè)的編曲也非常引人入勝.目前他們夫婦倆和兩歲的女兒一起住在紐約布魯克林.

Composer and banjo player David Gould (of the Bootleg Remedy) and singer/songwriter Caroline Schutz (of Folksongs for the Afterlife) married in 2004 and formed the atmospheric rock duo the Inner Banks as a home-recording project in Brooklyn, NY, in 2005. Those recordings began to feature other guest musicians, and by the time the debut album The Inner Banks was released by DAG! Records on December 5, 2006, it also featured Greta Gertler (vocals), Amie Margoles (French horn), Colin Brigstocke (trumpet), Yusuke Yamamoto (vibraphone/Wurlitzer), Michael Block (cello), Sarah Crocker (violin), Noah Geller (violin), and several members of the Bootleg Remedy: Michael Gomez (lap steel), Dave Yantorno (guitar), Jim Mansfield (drums), and Doug Largent (upright bass).
