超人氣歌姬濱崎步早前為電影《傷城》主唱日本版主題曲，正式為邁向亞洲踏出第一步。事實上濱崎步已訂下一連串拓展亞洲市場的計劃，當(dāng)中包括到中國香港等地舉行巡回演唱會，絕對讓樂迷引頸以待。這次推出的精選大碟《A BEST 2》，正好作為濱崎步的事業(yè)里程碑。

　　《A BEST 2》分為“Black”和“White”兩個版本�！癢hite”版本以明亮系的歌曲為主，收錄15首歌曲。雙DVD收入收錄曲的MV及“ayumi hamasaki BEST of COUNTDOWN LIVE 2006-2007 ” 實況紀(jì)錄。
