曾經(jīng)被美國(guó)《人物》雜志評(píng)為“全球五十大美男子”之一的克里斯·波提(Chris Botti)以俊秀的外型和高超的技巧被廣大樂(lè)迷所追捧。美國(guó)著名音樂(lè)人大衛(wèi)·福斯特(David Foster)推崇他的演奏具有邁爾斯·戴維斯(Miles Davis)的特色與切特·貝克(Chet Baker)的性感。
　　克里斯·波提(Chris Botti)，小號(hào)手，1962年10月12日生于美國(guó)俄勒岡州的波特蘭，隸屬于哥倫比亞唱片公司。Chris Botti可能不僅僅在爵士領(lǐng)域，而在美國(guó)所有年輕一代器樂(lè)演奏的音樂(lè)家當(dāng)中長(zhǎng)相都算是最好的了。但是他的成功絕大部分還是因?yàn)樗�在音�?lè)方面的成就，在2001年克里斯·波提發(fā)行的唱片《Night Sessions》的銷(xiāo)量超過(guò)百萬(wàn)，在其中Botti將爵士樂(lè)和流行音樂(lè)兩種風(fēng)格融合在一起，從而創(chuàng)造出一個(gè)新的音樂(lè)流派。 2007年12月4日，他被提名3個(gè)格萊美獎(jiǎng)，包括最佳流行演奏專(zhuān)輯和最佳長(zhǎng)篇音樂(lè)錄影帶。他的三張專(zhuān)輯到過(guò)Billboard爵士專(zhuān)輯榜的榜首。
