Editors和 Razorlight結(jié)合在一起弄夠擦出什么火花呢？今天各位聽家就來看看這張《 Funny Looking Angels》的火花效應(yīng)，由Smith和Burrows帶來。分別是Editors的Tom Smith，Razorlight的前鼓手Andy Burrows。倆人都是才華橫溢的藝人，各自的SIDE-PROJECT都很成功。Tom Smith除了照顧好本職工作外，09年參與到 Tired Pony樂隊(duì)中去，用她渾厚的嗓音帶來令人回味很久的“The Good Book”，今年年初又參與到電子樂隊(duì)The Japanese Popstars中。在離開Razorlight后的 Andy Burrows，發(fā)行了一張SOLO專輯《The Colour of my Dreams》，又加入到復(fù)古搖滾樂隊(duì)We Are Scientists，一起參與制作完成了WAS的新專輯。就是這樣藝多不壓身的倆人在圣誕節(jié)來臨前走到了一起，帶來了《Funny Looking Angels》。倆人裝扮為帶有翅膀的“天使”，宣傳照和專輯相呼應(yīng)，倆個(gè)大男人插上了翅膀，看似十分滑稽的事情，無意間有了節(jié)日的氣氛。首支單曲“When The Thames Froze”在倫敦愉快的拍攝完成，搭配著Tom Smith的沉重，渾厚的嗓音怎么聽都不會(huì)有太多的愉快，恰恰這樣的感覺是“When The Thames Froze”想要表達(dá)的，將殘酷的現(xiàn)實(shí)和內(nèi)心期待著節(jié)日的心情聯(lián)系到一起。現(xiàn)實(shí)總歸現(xiàn)實(shí)，但是到最后（年末）還是要去享受節(jié)日帶來的喜悅和溫馨。Merry Christmas and Have A Nice Life!
