Dum Dum Girls是著名廠牌Sub Pop旗下一只Lo-Fi全女子樂隊(duì)，這只組成于08年.來自洛杉磯的樂隊(duì)最初只是主唱Dee Dee的Side-Project，樂隊(duì)的名字靈感來源于蘇格蘭樂隊(duì)The Vaselines的專輯Dum Dum和Iggy Pop的歌曲Dum Dum Boys。樂隊(duì)10年的首張專輯I Will Be得到了pitchfork等媒體的好評(píng)，在今年3月的EP”He Gets Me High”中Dum Dum Girls還翻唱了The Smiths的金曲There Is A Light That Never Goes Out。這張九月份才正式發(fā)行的新專仍保持了姑娘們的水準(zhǔn)，就如專輯名所呈現(xiàn)的一樣，Dee Dee想把現(xiàn)實(shí)與夢(mèng)想這個(gè)主題通過她們的音樂傳達(dá)給同有所感的人。
