The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache

Jason Reeves1984年7月1日出生于美國(guó)愛荷華州愛荷華市。受民謠大師Bob Dylan及James Taylor的影響，從少年時(shí)代起他開始自學(xué)吉他走上了音樂(lè)之路。他一直從事音樂(lè)創(chuàng)作，并從大學(xué)退學(xué)，來(lái)到加利福尼亞專職從事音樂(lè)工作，追逐自己的音樂(lè)理想。



作為“唱作人”，他發(fā)行了第一張專輯，名為：The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache (and Other Frightening Tales)專輯第一首“Someone Somewhere”，最后一首“The End”。開始時(shí)只在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上發(fā)售和現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演出，然而專輯異乎尋常的出色和真實(shí)不造作深深的打動(dòng)了聽眾，該專輯在iTunes上被評(píng)為“2007最佳民謠專輯” ，同時(shí)也為Reeves贏得了當(dāng)年“最佳獨(dú)立唱作人”之一的稱號(hào)�，F(xiàn)在Reeves已簽約華納兄弟唱片，從而可以首次大范圍的宣傳發(fā)行自己的專輯。Reeves的旅程還剛剛開始，正如他的音樂(lè)一樣，他會(huì)一直保持著純真，正如他的外表，以及他的生活。



Jason曾經(jīng)成功的引起了歌手Colbie Caillat的注意，而她只是Jason到達(dá)加利福尼亞之后遇到的第二個(gè)人。在與制作人Mikal Blue錄制唱片期間，Reeves遇到了Colbie，于是友情迅速的建立了起來(lái)。Reeves–Caillat–Blue三人組立刻成為了不可分割的團(tuán)體，只要可以總在一起寫歌錄音。Reeves說(shuō)道：Mikal和Colbie是我在LA認(rèn)識(shí)的唯一的兩個(gè)人。我們一起渡過(guò)了很多時(shí)光，一起去沙灘，高山，樹林，彈吉它，寫歌。受到美麗的加利福尼亞海灘的感染而寫的很多歌曲組成了Reeves的第一張EP Hearts Are Magnets, 而且也使Caillat取得了突破（接近雙白金）的專輯Coco。在該專輯中，Reeves也合寫了大多數(shù)的歌曲，包括暢銷曲Bubbly和Realize。
