此輯是Korn繼《Follow The Leader》之后的首張全新創(chuàng)作錄制專輯，邀來當(dāng)紅搖滾制作人Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine)操刀制作，因此在曲風(fēng)上也做了些許的修正，主要是以Metal, Alternative Rock為主軸，至于上一張濃厚的Hip Hop/Rap風(fēng)格，則扮演襯底、穿插增色的角色。另外，他們更加重了旋律性，甚至在序曲Dead里，還可聽到蘇格蘭風(fēng)笛聲，以及輕松吟唱的歌聲。再加上媲美Freak On A Leash充滿迷幻頹廢氣息的首支單曲Falling Away From Me，到已率先在1999年的Woodstock演唱會(huì)上公開發(fā)表大獲好評(píng)的Beg For Me、Wake Up，精彩可期。
