在澳洲,Emmanuel的音樂與生活是一種傳奇.他在四歲的時候就開始彈吉他,靠著耳朵學(xué)著怎么彈,而沒有接受任何正規(guī)訓(xùn)練.Emmanuel與他的哥哥Phil都是神童,在1960年便開始他們的職業(yè)生涯.大約在六歲時,Tommy已經(jīng)是一個職業(yè)樂手了.



　　在1966年他父親死后不久,Emmanuel一家便跟著澳洲鄉(xiāng)村音樂明星Buddy Williams旅行,直到他們被澳洲兒童福利部門阻擋下來.Emmanuel一家的小孩隨即被送往正規(guī)學(xué)校.



　　在這些年里,Tommy在周末與他們兄弟姐妹:打鼓的Chris和彈滑音吉他的Virginia組成Traiblazers.他也開始一個禮拜兩個晚上教吉他,同時在電視上各種不同的競賽露面.當(dāng)他們組成的Traiblazers在電視才藝競賽中拿下兩次冠軍并發(fā)行一張EP后,Emmanuel家便開始走紅了.



　　Emmanuel十幾歲時懷揣著成為一個專業(yè)吉他手的夢想搬到悉尼.他在城市各俱樂部里表演,Emmanuel的吉他技巧開始在公眾場合顯露,不久后便受到唱片公司的注意.



　　他馬上為自己立下對現(xiàn)今大多著名吉他手都顯得嚴(yán)格苛刻的舞臺表演高標(biāo)準(zhǔn).從70年代中晚期一直到80年代早期,他加入了這十年間舉足輕重的團(tuán)體Dragon,也為Air Supply和其他許多著名藝人伴奏.



　　1987年,Dragon隨著Tina Turner進(jìn)行”Break Every Rule”之旅.在他以往的十五張專輯中,Emmanuel無窮的天賦與從不服輸?shù)募记梢辉俚募由盍藰吩u與樂迷們的喜愛.



　　2005年,Tommy第一次在韓國,波蘭與克羅地亞演出.此外,他還將在2006年第一次在斯洛維尼與比利時演出,隨后到美國,歐洲與亞洲等地.他那令人眼花了亂的表演,毫無瑕疵的吉他技巧與長篇的曲目一定會引起他所到之處觀眾的驚嘆.
