Time Stand Still: The Collection

RUSH，1968年成軍于加拿大多倫多，初期成員有作曲，鍵盤兼主唱的多才貝斯手Geddy Lee，吉他手Alex Lifeson，鼓手John Rutsey 以及后來替代John Rutsey 的鼓手兼作詞Neil Peart。

樂隊(duì)1974年三月發(fā)行了樂隊(duì)同名專輯《RUSH》后，憑著高超的樂隊(duì)成員樂器技術(shù)，復(fù)雜的編曲，含義深遠(yuǎn)，富有哲理而不失煥麗的歌詞。開始受到音樂界的廣泛關(guān)注。

他們音樂內(nèi)容涉及了政治，社會問題，環(huán)境等問題。他們的音樂形式是硬搖滾和前衛(wèi)金屬的完美結(jié)合。

至今為止RUSH的成員，已經(jīng)是年過50的老人了。

他們總共發(fā)行了24張黃金專輯，14張白金專輯。

黃金專輯數(shù)量排在the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kiss之后位居第四。

白金專輯數(shù)量同樣排在the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith位居第四。

而RUSH的專輯總銷量排在美國總量的第78位，總銷量全球答4千多萬張。
