幾位特種部隊成員在一次出征玻利維亞的行動中被內(nèi)鬼出賣，并受到追殺。他們偽造了自己的死亡，潛回美國開始計劃復仇大業(yè)。

　有一個受聘于美國政府的機密組織，里面的成員均是來自中情局、國家安全局、特種部隊等等的精英，分別有為首的領(lǐng)軍人物克萊（杰弗里•迪恩•摩根飾）、玩世不恭的簡森（克里斯•埃文斯飾）、武器專家羅克（伊德瑞斯•艾爾巴飾）以及普奇（哥倫布•紹特飾）、酷格（奧斯卡•賈恩那達飾）等人。這群特工在玻利維亞執(zhí)行一次并不算難度太高的任務(wù)，卻不想因為內(nèi)鬼麥克斯（杰森•帕特里克飾）的出賣，不但行動砸鍋了不說，還讓幾個人背上了不光彩的罵名，而且每個人的生命也籠罩在死亡的威脅里。

　　好歹大家都是受過專業(yè)軍事訓練的，怎能就此吃癟？克萊將計就計，扔了一個煙霧彈，偽造了大家的死亡，而后改名換姓為“失敗者”，秘密的潛回美國，準備一雪前恥。這時候，一位叫做愛莎（佐伊•索爾達娜飾）的神秘女郎的出現(xiàn)，也加入失敗者組織，與克萊一行人開始復仇�？巳R一行人能否順利的抓出內(nèi)鬼，重新找回尊嚴呢？關(guān)鍵之處的秘密，其實全系于功夫高強的愛莎一身……
