繼兩年前的《Devils & Dust》之后，藍(lán)領(lǐng)搖滾教父Bruce Springsteen的全新錄音室專輯《Magic》在本周的Billboard 200專輯榜中再次稱霸。據(jù)Nielsen SoundScan統(tǒng)計(jì)顯示，《Magic》在全美上市首周的銷量達(dá)到33萬5千張，是Bruce Springsteen在五年前的專輯《The Rising》之后單周專輯銷量的最高紀(jì)錄。2002年，《The Rising》發(fā)行首周奪冠時(shí)的銷量為52萬5千張。新作《Magic》是綽號(hào)“The Boss”的Bruce Springsteen在美國的第八張冠軍專輯，他此前獲得冠軍的專輯包括：《The River》、《Born in the U.S.A.》、精選集《Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band 1975-1985》、《Tunnel of Love》、精選集《Greatest Hits》和《Devils & Dust》。



在經(jīng)典之作《Born in the U.S.A.》面世之后的這20多年當(dāng)中，Bruce Springsteen只在兩張專輯中與他曾經(jīng)的御用伴奏樂團(tuán)E Street Band合作。在五年前的《The Rising》之后，“The Boss”在這張新作中和E Street Band再度攜手。與自己一人完成的《Devils & Dust》以及翻唱Pete Seeger的《We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions》相比，向搖滾曲風(fēng)回歸的《Magic》無疑更有力量，而E Street Band的回歸也總能夠使Springsteen的作品更加豐滿。為本張專輯負(fù)責(zé)制作和混音工作的是Brendan O'Brien。



專輯開篇單曲《Radiohead Nowhere》絕對(duì)是Bruce Springsteen近年來最有力量的單曲之一，在近兩張專輯的柔情之后，Springsteen終于又露出了他搖滾硬漢的一面，而這首出色的開場曲也很容易讓歌迷對(duì)本張專輯好感倍增。《You'll Be Comin' Down》、《Livin' in the Future》和第九首《Last to Die》都是典型的“Springsteen式”曲目，編配豐富，旋律上口，很粗礦，很男人�！禝'll Work for Your Love》是本張專輯中整體最流暢的曲目之一，上口的旋律也許會(huì)讓一些老歌迷想到《The River》時(shí)期的Springsteen。而同名單曲《Magic》則是本張專輯中旋律最好的慢歌，舒服的民謠式曲風(fēng)自然也是Springsteen的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)之一。最后作為Bonus曲目的《Terry's Song》是Bruce Springsteen在本張專輯即將完工的最后時(shí)刻加入的一首獻(xiàn)給已故的老搭檔Terry Magovern的歌，鋼琴、口琴、木吉他與Springsteen深情的演繹融為一體。



總的來看，再次回到搖滾曲風(fēng)的Bruce Springsteen在這張新作中的表現(xiàn)是可圈可點(diǎn)的，這張《Magic》是2007年中誕生的最優(yōu)秀的主流搖滾唱片之一。
